ARV 94 or TW Pro

I'm trying to decide between the ARV 94s and TW, I live on the east coast and ski 60% park 40% all mountain. What I am wondering abt is how does their all mountain performance compare, and the feel of the skis in general. I am looking for something light and poppy that can perform good enough on all mountain.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’ve rode the tw pro for about to weeks there great in the park and can boom down grumers and steep stuff fine but I in pouder they sink so much. They also get chips pretty easily but they don’t effect the performance of the ski. I don’t know a lot about the arv but I’ve heard good things about them too.

Just bought tw pros. Didn’t ski them yet tho so idk how they r

i’d look into the head oblivion 94 for how much you ski all mountain. they are one of the poppiest skis out there and will absolutely destroy all mountain and of course will be fantastic in the park

Yeah my buddy has the TWs, i've just heard good things abt the new ARVs which is why i'm struggling to pick.
 
The 94 is better for all mountain but still has a very nice progressive flex. Imo the TW is a rail optimized kinda ski, not the most buttery, but got lots of pop. The ARV is just a bit more versatile especially with mount point allowing you to get the best out of it depending on percentage of all mountain vs park

Is the ARV more poppy?
 
I'm like 95% sure ima go with last years TWs for the main reason of the price being much cheaper, thanks for all the help though.
 
ARV 94 because of better quality and durability than the TW pros, better if you break skis alot or get ARW 94 ( jus think they look better but don’t really matter)

I rode my friends for a run and they surprisingly butter pretty well.
 
Def don't get the tw pro.. u less you want to risk it. You might have to get new skiis during this season lol
 
U have to ski like a pussy to get the TWP to last long. Which is a shame bcs i really liked it at demo day last year. ARV winds tho off durability alone.

It's not like they aren't buttery. Like when I talk about differences like this Im talking like maximum 10% difference which isn't huge really.

ARV's this year seem to have pretty shit durability. They slapped a lighter wood core in them than past seasons iirc. Seen like 4 people have blown out sidewalls in them this season. I'd look elsewhere tbh

Oh wow. I didnt know that. That sucks to hear, my old AR7s were absolute TANKS.

So both are not durable at all ?
 
Honestly pay the extra money and get something from a smaller brand like on3p, moment, fatypus etc. It's going to cost more but the build quality for the most part is going to be significantly better. I've been riding on fatypus for like 8 seasons and those sticks are still going strong. Multiple people I know have had issues with Line and their durability, same with armada, mostly sidewall issues as stated above. Obviously any park ski is going to take a beating over time and isn't going to hold up so take this post with a grain of salt. Of your two options I'd say the ARV is going to perform the best for park and all mountain. TW would be a good ski for purely park. do with that information what you will
