Artificial Turf Speed

I'm curious how much artificial grass compares to real snow? Half as fast?

idk i know fake grass has to be wet to slide and they wet down the fake snow also to make it go faster but fake snow hella expensive

It all depends on how wet it is and how steep u make the run in. If there’s no water u stop almost immediately after the steep part

I built a jib a while ago and the turf was very slow. It needed to be completely wet, and even then I had to cover it with that orange construction barrier material to get a good slide. Worked alright, but definitely slower than snow

Idk but turf is slow af unless it’s super wet and soapy. Get msnow

Need to have it soaking wet or you’ll possible scratch up your skis and stop almost immediately
