Article images not "linking" and opening in new page

Hello,

We're trying to write another news article and the images within the articles are not linking to the correct source how we would like them to.

Once an image is inserted into the post we select it, then "link it" using the editor, define the URL source and confirm.

Once in preview mode, none of the images within the body of the article are linking at all - they simply just open in a NS window to be viewed larger.

How can we make images link to a webpage? and not open to view the image?

Newschoolers doesn't work that way.

Download the images individually.

then post then thru my media

then just like the news article with

Hey man! To my knowledge, that's actually not possible.

The best solution is to simply add a little link below the photo with a quick description.
