are any of you guys into art or anything like that? if so, what kind?

I mainly do photography, painting (usually watercolours), and I'm trying to get better at drawing on the puter (what would that be called)

im an artist. i mainly work with arcylics and charcoal. but i like sticking stuff together :P

Im also a graphic designer if thats what you mean bu the computer etc.

photography and videoraphy si wicked too. cept i find it really hard to do. especially to edit. maybe its just me. but tis fun!

generally being creative rocks! hell it entertained me on my 9 hour flight on holiday last year. i filled a sketch pad just doodlin on the plane.

abstracts good. im into that alot. the wierdness behind it all i find pretty attractive. Picasso is a fond favorite.

abstract is kinda hard to do for me cause I like things plain and simple, and the randomness of it all bothers me when I draw it.

okay, abstract art is bullshit. Although, that's just my opinion and i am probably wrong, as i have no points to back that up.

i enjoy art, my favorite artisst is MC Escher. photography is also quite cool, wish i could have my own darkroom.

i do photography and graphic design. web design, too. with my digital camera i can make movies, so im working a little bit on editing.

 
art is anything that invokes an emotional response through use of sounds, colours, shapes, or anything. therefore, almost everything is art, depending on how you look at it. art is what you make of it, not just painting or drawing or sculpting or anything, it can be as simple as the way you dial someone's phone number.

i'm aware that made me sound like a hippy....meh

can you draw on the computer? hehe! There's this girl on a oekaki (drawing) board who is incredibly good at drawing...some of her stuff looks like a real photo...I'll post of her stuff on the thread when I find it...

I draw, paint and sculpt, but my favorite is sculpting. I'm tryin to get a portfolio together so i can apply to art school in a few years

 
i paint my balls and while they are still wet I smack em against a canvas, a big canvas.

I can draw on the computer but not on paper its strange. Its not at all the same. Its weird at first on a computer, but now its normal.

 
ya, at first, lines look like shit when you draw on the puter, slowly they get better and better. I wish I had a tablet though. Things would be sooo much better!

I have been for a while, it's not too hard once you get the hang of it, but line cleanup for that is hell, and if you dun clean the lines up, it looks like shit on a stick.
