so i'm in AP studio art right now doing a drawing portfolio and i'm about halfway through my concentration right now. i'm focusing the concentration on skiing and what it means to me. i'm kinda running out of ideas and this is a bad time for that because i need to seriously crank and get like 4 pieces in 2 weeks, so i was looking for some suggestions from ns. i wanted to do some form of tribute to mcconkey but i was having trouble finding something pretty quick and simple that relates to himso everything needs to be relatively traditional because that's what my teacher wants
so far my pieces have been and i'll put how long they've taken me for reference, each day refers to class period which is 45 mins:
2 sketches of skiers and shit-2 dayswatercolor/pastel vintage ski poster-3 daysstill life rendered goggle strap all twisted up and shit-1 hrgraphic design oriented ski sequence done in ink-20 minsbig drawing of the tips of the 06/07 SFB's-1 daycurrent piece is i'm rendering my profile pic in black watercolor and pen, all black and white
so i'm looking for like 4 more quick pieces but that will also look decent

I'm sorry are you looking for ideas in terms of what media you are using or are you looking for things to draw?
 
things to draw, usually based off pictures or objects and the mediums would be charcoal pencil, ebony pencil, white pencil, pastel, ink, watercolor, not too much oil paint or anything
 
The classic single chair covered in three feet of fresh?

idk really know, im not much of an art guy.

can you post some of your stuff though?
 
Here are some ideas:

Silhouetted trees with snow falling down

Draw some one doing an octo or something easy to draw

Draw a mountain in graphite or chalk with "first tracks" going down

You could do a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows, use the marshmallows as a pillow line for a skier.

A cliff drop in pencil or graphite again and really emphasize the snow coming off the cliff with the skier part way down in mid air.

I don't know if that helps at all? I'll keep thinking.

i dont know where a picture is, but its in the india segment of SSD. I can take a screenshot later today if you'd like.
