Arsty music with rights?

i have a school project that I'm looking to do. we need to make a video about the school, and if we use music we need to get rights. would anyone know some good artsy, upbeat, or maybe some electronic(not intense dubstep) from independent artists that I would be able to get permission to use the songs?
 
I ran into the same problem once. If it is for school and your making no profit off your video just email the record label. Most likely they will be glad to give you permission. I had to use a song from We Were Promised Jetpacks so I emailed Fat Cat Records to see if I could use it. They got back to me in a day saying that as long as its for school I can use it.
