Armda ARV 185 CM

I''m headed out to Utah for a few weeks and all i got right now is salmon 1080 migul. I can buy thr Armada ARV form my friend for about $300-350. He only has 185 cm and I was wondering if that would be too big for someone my size (5'8 140lbs) I've been riding on 170cm the last two years and I wondering if the 15 cm jump would be too big.

 
hmm.... well i'm 5'10 and i ride the 185 PR and they're fine for me... but then the ARV is a toally different ski. Never thought i might say this but i think they could be a tad long for you. BUT having said that you'll prolly adjust and never want to go back and for $300 you really cant say no

I suppose the question you want to ask yourself is how good a skier are you?

if his you rfriend then get why cant you just test them and see if it works outt for you, thats what i'd do cause they sound a little too long, but no reason not to give em a chance...

buy em. If you're in utah, you'll need the length for cliffs and pow. If they don't work just put them on ebay and you still make money.

I ride them and I am about 6 feet. They are a amazing ski and they go absolutely anywhere. As long as you charge I am sure you can handle them

I have Armada AR5's and they are glorious
 
im 5'9'' and ride the 179 pistols, and 6cm isnt too much more than that, but the ARV is a stiffer ski. As said above, as long as you rip you'll be fine. But if you plan on using them in the park at all I think you're hooped. 140lbs is pretty damn light for that big a ski.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day

^hes comming to utah, the only thing he should be doin is big mountain, unless hes goin to park city which isnt all that cool, no hard feelings to all you pc fans

 
Their skis measure pretty long too, i might wanna add to this heated debate... by long i mean that a 185cm with really be 185 long... which would make logical sense...

Yeah I'm goingto be just big mtn. stuff cuz i'm going 2 alta and snowbird. I might go 2 park city but i'm mainly going out there 4 the powder. I'm probably going to end up getting them and at least i might grow into them
