why are they so damn expensive? what makes them better than rossi, k2, salomon, and all the other skis out there. are they just a rip off or are they for real?

Well,they're made of expensive materials,they're not a big ass company like Rossignol that won't give a rat's ass about skiing if their skiers arent't getting enough recognition. Same with 4FRNT,the materials are really good and expensive,and every company that hasn't been around for years needs to make their product wanted,make it hip,then a little later they can even lower the prices a little. The AR5 is a great ski.
