Bought some armada white walkers and deciding wether to mount on factory recommended or Sammy’s point. Any skier who ride these got any advice? I’m a pretty playful skier who likes to butter, spin, hit cliffs and shred pow.
 
are u planning to land switch in pow on a regular basis? cuz if you are, freestyle. if you're more into charging lines: factory.

you could manage both with either mounting position of course. subtle at this point, and not always recognizable to the eye about a few centimeters of mounting difference.

I think I will too since factory is probably more set for traditional powder skiers who prefer charging through snow like you said. If I’m not wrong Sammy’s point will make the ski feel more playful.

ALWAYS ALWAYS mount at Sammy line!! That’s where the ski was designed to be skied at. I’ve owned both years of the WW and it don’t ski real great at the factory line. The Sammy line everytime
 
Sammy’s line will def feel more balanced spinning and in the air but it’s rlly just preference like you’ll lose a bit of float and won’t be able to drive them as hard. I’d go Sammy’s line tho especially if ur used to more progressive or center mounted skis

I actually prefer the arv 116 at factory as well, floats like crap on the freestyle line. Then the sammy line on the WW seems to float just fine, go figure.
 
Definitely Sammy's line. They were designed for it. IMO its a common industry mistake to make an amazing ski for a pro rider who mounts it near center and then compromise the design by mounting it wrong.

not too sure but my guesses are it will be a slightly heavier set but nothing noticeable.

I just saw one was part of the zero series, one wasn't, so I'm curious to see if there's a big difference since a WW 122 at the same weight range and stiffness would be an attractive ski for me.

The 2022 WW is currently a zero series ski. Sammy mentioned that the new ski is going to be the same weight and flex. Only difference is that the ski has changed the design and is now a signature model. So I believe that the zero series 2023 WW will not be lighter nor similar to the new one. But don’t take my word for it, just my logical assumption!
 
WW 116 is a signature series ski

WW 121 is a Zero series ski.

Same caruba core and 1.5' edge if i am not mistaken
