Armada Website Up!

yeah so is the skinniest ARV the new ar7 basically? and where'd the pipe cleaner go?

i do like the lineup a lot though, and how simplified it is. the ARV (96) is badass i bet, ive always loved the ARVs. happy to see them have a revival in popularity the past few years

they need a charging/big mtn ski without 5 point though, yuck

yup so the arv 96 is basically the new ar7 and the 86 is something similar. I have rode most of them all and really dig the Invictus series. They charge!

you mean the ARV 86 basically = the new ar7 and the ARV 96 = the new version of the traditional ARV that's been around almost the entirety of armada's time as a company, led to the e dollo etc

right?

weird that the pipe cleaner is nowhere to be seen. can i therefore assume the ARV 86 is stiffer than the ARVs have been in the past? cause i don't know what else their pipe skiers would use....

cause the ar7s were stiffer than ARVs from what i remember, and the PCs were basically just stiffer ar7s, right?

no AR7 thall or pipe cleaner? damn

the AR8, which is part of the zero collection, is the same ski as the Pipe Cleaner. The Zero skis and outerwear won't be sold online but will be available to elite brick n mortar accounts

Def seems like they are missing a few things.

All we did was simplify. Last year (and the 4 years before that) AR7, THall and Pipe Cleaner were all essentially the same ski. Same exact shape, slightly different core. Think of the ARV Series like this:

ARV 86: 80% park, 20% all mtn (almost no rocker)

ARV 96: 60% park, 40% all mtn (a little more rocker)

ARV 106: 10% park, 90% all mtn (most rocker)

All of them have a playful flex, but are snappy with carbon stringers in the tip and tail.

B&E now gives you two widths of super soft, buttery skis.

And if you still feel the need for a super stiff, fully cambered race ski with a twin tip, the AR8 is basically the Pipe Cleaner, and will be available from our core dealers. That ski is part of the Zero Collection, which will have a micro site that will drop shortly (already mentioned in this thread).

Can't tell you the price of the Dollo bib, not sure. There will be a list of I think 68 dealers in NA (36 in EU) that drops on the micro site. Think specialty shops that have carried Armada for a while.

$346 for brand new zero collection ar8s? am i missing something?

They're $499 in the USA.... Like I said this website is about as shady as it gets violating pretty much every normal dealer agreement around

But yeah it's pretty sick all the Zero skis are the same price as the normal inline versions

AR8 is 499, Al Dente is 599, and JJ Zero is 699

I've bought off freezer before and it's pretty legit actually! Though I'd expect things to be more expensive on the site because they have to order them in to the UK?

Looking at the ARV 86 but need a ski that dose all mountain not just park. so the ARV 96 is a solid model for that but could easily swing towards the B-dogs after the are the illuminati.

I saw the Al Dente zero today. that thing looks fucking orgasmic. I do wish the shop that has these things also had the AR8 though.
