Armada Warranty

I just got off the phone with armada and they said they couldn't

warranty my skis because the damage appeared to be from a backseat

landing. I don't do any large jumps and I almost always land switch so

I seriously doubt it's from backseat landings since I didn't have any backseat landings that day. I'm not sure what

caused it but it wasn't from a rail, I just looked down and it was

broken, what do you guys think? Is there anything I can do?

thats lame as fuck that they didnt warranty them, i thought armada was supposed to be really cool about warranties

they're 05/06, bought them on sale less than a year ago. and I seriously did just look down and they had snapped, I didn't hit anything big, all I can think of that might of done it is I was trying some butters in some shallow powder, and there's no way the ski should've broken from that.

they said it looks like it's from an awkward landing and can't be warrantied, which really sucks, but they'll sell me any ski on pro-form which is cool. Still disappointed they can't warranty them though. Wonder if I can get the ARGs haha.

do you know if I could e-mail him? thall@armadaskis.com? not sure if I'd get the right brother hah.

tysons email was just info@armadaskis.com, just send an email to that with ATTN: Tyson Hall, to make sure he gets it.

Yeah, dont call them. They cant possibly know what happened to your ski over the phone. Get some more detailed pictures, and email them to Tyson. Ill post the link to my thread with my warranty experience, it might help you..

I was very impressed with the warranty Armada supplied me with, however, I cant say the same for thier skis anymore. My T-Halls were replaced with Ar6's after the edges in the tail fell out. Now, with 2 days on my Ar6's, they are already starting to delam. I know you cant warranty a warranty ski, so I might as well ride them out.

alright, thanks for all the advice guys, emailed tyson, hopefully they'll take another look at them

So, Tyson Hall was way helpful and is just damn awesome.

It turns out my skis were part of a sample run that wasn't supposed to be released to the public. He checked the serial number and they were part of a sample series. They had a softer flex and even though the damage to my skis wouldn't have normally been warranty-worthy, the softer flex might have contributed to them breaking so early. So he said he'd send a new pair out and it should arrive right after Christmas.

That's customer service.

same thing happened to me

my pipecleaners broke and they send they wouldnt warranty them just give me proform

then i bitched at them and they sent me some new pipecleaners

Their warranty is great. One of my 06/07 AR6's camber got messed up and they sent me a new pair of 07/08 AR6's. Tyson rocks.
