i was in the shop thinking where to get my jj's mounted when another shop tech walked in and said that if i mount anywhere other than recommended its going to void my warranty. i told him he was a dumb fuck retard as politely as i could.

so the dude doesn't know shit right?

right.

Well if this is your first, second, or third time mounting those skis you should be good. But then again some companies are really gay about warranties. I would call them or see if theres anything on the website.

the only way it would void the warranty is if you mount off the mounting plate. as far as i know, armada doesnt use a mounting plate, and if they do, it should cover the majority of the camber. so in short, yes, the shop tech was retarded

Thanks for dropping us an email. Mounting your JJ 1cm forward of the

even tho this isnt the case here...

its not that unheard of for ski companies to void warranty if you mount anywhere other than recommended. frankly i dont blame them. they are basically saying, if you think you know more about the ski than the company who made it does, then by all means mount it where ever you want, just dont expect a refund when you mess up your skis.

Yeah, but think about it. it's called "RECOMMENDED" not "ONLY MOUTING POSTITION". I mean, really, it's just recommended, if they say you're warrenty is void because of mounting position, they're just trying to get out of sending you new skis.

Plus, from what i've heard Armada is legit with their warrenties.

P.S. I mounted my JJs at recommended, and couldn't be happier.

i'm suprised that it's 2 or 3. i thought warranties were void after 1... but that's just me, and obviously isn't true
