Ok, so i know i've could have posted this on the WTB forum but fuck it, i feel its more noticable here..

anyways, want to buy a pair of Armada Thalls 181 with or without bindings. i've checkd multiple online dealers and i've noticed that's its almost sold out.

i saw a guy selling a pair on here but ofc i was too late...:(

im kinda desp no since i heard rumours that the Thall model won't be sold next year. dno if thats true or not but if any of you newschoolers got a pair u wanna sell PM!

Btw live in Europe( Norway)

+K for bumps and tips

-K for hate

Thx

might be worth trying to contact your local armada rep. he or she would know who has them if they dont have them already. if youre willing to get a demo pair you could cut the cost down by alot. also giving a call to armada could help too. i wish i could help more. good luck!

I just picked up a pair in 181 at my local shop...

a few things though... they felt like DEATH on rails, even after i detuned them. they are starting to break in a little more now, but if you get some, expect them to be the worst rail skis on earth for the first few weeks you own them. also, if you want them mounted true center, have the guy at your local shop mount them a little further up from where it says a center mount is on the ski, true center is slightly above that.

good luck bro

Tryd armada.com reps they gave me the name of to possible dealers. none of them hade them in 181:( so ye..

what's a demo pair?

all good man thanks for tip!

Thanks man! been reading up on it all lot, reviews and whatnot but this was acctually good tips and info so thanks bro! my concern tho is not where to mount my bindings etc. but acctually getting a pair haha.

my backup choices are the halos and punx but i reaally want those thalls! faaaack.

+K btw! thx again

some shops will throw demo rails on skis and let people try before they buy. some shops actually center mount their demo skis and some do not. but either way they sell them for much much cheaper. my friend got a pair of this years volkl bridges with jesters for 300 bucks this way.

and no problem.

also, in regards to the comment "these skis are death on rails when you first get them" most skis when first bought form a shop are tuned for you. that has nothing to do with the ski itself. also alot of skis companies use denser, thicker metals for their twins so it may take a while to detune unless you ride ice all the time. i would take a metal file, old pipe or if youre not an idiot CAREFULLY use a grinder or belt sander that you wont ruin on them.

I've heard that halos are great skis, they would be a good alternative. but yeah no problem man, +k

there will be a pair of Thalls next year...i have next years catalog, but they look kinda gay....hurry up and cop this years good luck
