After posting my previous thread i have looked more for a fun playful softish park ski with a nice swing weight for the following ski season, i did searchbar but there is no other threads that fit what i am looking for, my hieght is 5'3 i am about 114 pounds i am 14 years old and am an aggressive park skier, got on the team for my large ski shop nesr me recently so price is not a matter unless its like ridiculous even with 65 - 75 percent off options i am currently looking at:

Armada thall

Armada halo

Armada al dente

Moment vice

Scott jib tw

Volkl step

And all the others listed in the title

Thanks in advance for helping out

there are a lot of difference between all these skis....

Group A: Halo dente Vice

all these skis have rocker, and are decently soft, halo and the vice are pretty similar, the al dente is much softer. The vice is an 83 waist which is pretty slim compared to the halo's 95 and the al dente's 97.Out of this group i'd suggest the vice, ive only riden them once but i really had a lot of fun on them!

Group B: thall tw step

all of these skis have mostly camber, the step i know has a little early rise, and the tw might. Flex wise these are all pretty similar and same with the dimensions. I have had some durability problems with volkl and so have a lot of my friends so i tend to shy away from them, they're great skis, just kinda weak. Both the thall and the tw will be great skis, i'd suggest the tw b/c of the early rise in the tip, helps carving, surface swaps and basically any time u might catch an edge!

Conclusion: Moment Vice vs. Scott TW so now decide if you want a lot of rocker, or just a tiny bit

hope this helped

Armadas suck. Just about everyone I know this season that had them including myself broke them within the first couple times they used them. My sidewalls separated from the edge on three sides and my skis got completely waterlogged, and one of my other friends tip got absolutely mangled from a simple fall. I've heard that they have been experimenting with how little glue they can get away with using, so the durability has really gone down hill.

We'll this is the first I have seen of this. Armada make a really solid product. You can usually get more seasons out of there product then most park skis. It certainly sounds like you guys were unlucky but I'm going to guess you would have had similar issues on any ski.

Op as the first reply says you picks a load of different skis there. What have you skied on in the past ? What do you like to do on the hill?

Give us a little more info and we will try to help.

my last pair of skis was the coda 150 but they are way too small, i ski in wisco and am on jumps and rails about 50/50, i am doing stuff on jumps like loui kang cork sevs and on rails spins off n out etc., the biggest jumps ill be hitting will probably be up to 60 feet but on average like 40, thanks for the help!

We'll if your doing bigger jumps like that in general a full camber stiff ski will be best. But at your size what would be considered a soft ski would be stiff for you. I would look at the armada thall and the atomic punx. Both will hold up to big jumps and both would be considered pretty soft for an adult so for you they should be nice and stiff yet still offering some playfulness.
