Armada T-hall 07/08 - Anybody ridden it?

Have anybody ridden the Armada T-hall 07/08 yet? I'm really interested to hear how they perform!

And please, dont't say: "well, they look dope, buy 'em"

I'm pretty sure well 100% sure that they are exactly the same as last years man, exact same shape/sidecut/flex/snap/butteryness to them, if you can find last years then buy them, you'll be saving yourself a loada money. For instance, porters were selling them for 300bones a while back, which is crazy good.

they are a soft ski when new, which gets real soft after a week on the snow. i found them stable enough though on 50fters, though do feel a bit washy backseat landings on big spins. on rails they are kings, nice pop and if paired with the right binding then they're fairly light.

They are defitely unchanged so if you rode last years and liked them, then definitely buy them.

now say thank you

Thank you. But I've emailed Armada, and they don't say the same. Please don't say things you don't know. I could believe you!

"The 0708 THall model will differ from the 0607 model, but only slightly. The 0708 model will be lighter in the tip and tail and be stiffer, and more stable, under boot compared to the current model. This was made possible byre-engineering our core to incorporate lighter wood in the tip/tail, and stronger, more dense wood under boot. This is the biggest change to the THall for next season."

I believe this will affect the ski a little bit. So my question was if anyone had ridden them and could say antyhing about them.

I think I will believe... you or armada? you or armada? hmm... armada.

we have both in the shop, and the 07/08 ones are a little stiffer. it seems that the tips and tails are the same, but the stiffness underfoot extends further away form the heel/toe pieces.

i have not ridden them but flexing them they feel a little stiffer than last years...the pipe cleaners are soft though.

Pretty sure I gonna buy them now. Maybe mount bindings 1 cm back.

But which bindings would you choose? I can choose any markers or looks.

I've ridden them and I love 'em, so I got a pair, I don't know if I would say more stiff that last year but more stable. Love'n the ski, of course looks great and either going to put on a 4FRNT binding or look jib-wide,(brushed black look) go for it, sick skis

Wow! This years PX 12 Jib's looks so sick!

But can somebody please tell me the difference between them? PX 12, PX 12 Jib, PX 12 Jib Ti etc.

I understand that the wide models just have wider brakes.

I'm so stoked on the T-halls now! The shop will get them any time now.

But what's the difference between the PX12 and the PX12 Titanium? Which one is lighter? cheaper? more durable?

And.. any more thoughts on the skis? happy to hear it all!

Good for park poppy on jumps, but anything else they're unresponsive and i didnt really like them. I'd get the AR6 anyday over it. i think freeskier agreeed but i cant really remember.

Haha, have never seen him ride them. No, I'm pretty sure I will not feel the weight-difference. But my shop don't have the last years and I get it cheaper anyways.

I've now ordered some T-halls in length 161 (I'm 158). And some Look PX12 Jib Ti Wide bindings in brushed black.

Should I go for true centre? I've ridden 1-2 cms back before, and I think that's bettet, but the T-halls may be different. Are they better to ride at true center?

Do you think the binding will be OK? I'm very lightweight, are they too heavy for me?

And please tell me more about the T-halls! :)

I told you about the Thalss but apparently i'm wrong. Even though i rode them...

Armada claim to have made the ski stiffer, and i thought this when I got them, but after 10or so days on the snow they became just as soft as last years. I love 'em.

The bindings will be absolutely fine man, one of the best cheaper bindngs out there, and very popular.

The tanners feel nice mounted a center, but it really comes down to what you're riding primarily. However, you will not notice too much difference between 0 and -2.

But true is nice

yo bro thats the exact same setup i jus got (161 with the brushed black binders) its soo sexy and its gonna be so dank

Well, in relation to like the jester, it's cheap, but not a pricepoint/budget binding, maybe i mean reasonabley priced.

They really aren't that heavy man, you'll be fine with them.

I think the TI ones have more metal in the toe piece (though i could be wrong here) and they are slighty lighter.

Yeah! I have now bought the T-hall 161 and the Look PX12 Ti Jib Wide brushed black binding! Sick!

Together with the Dalbello Il Moro, this winter is going to kill it!!!!

px12 = flimsy

px12 Ti = lighter, much more durable due to the metal componants, more expensive.

i KNOW this, i have had both.

Well, if the Ti is lighter than the normal one, the normal one have to be wayyyy heavy! I think the Ti is heavy. No way I'm riding a heavier binding than that.
