Armada Stranger

It's a funky freestyle carving ski, if you want to see how it can ski I think Mike Hornbeck made an edit on them when they launched and Liam Downey has many park clips on his instagram.

Season Kin and Black Crows Mirus Cor are probably the closest ones? Or maybe Sakana but twintip?

These weird carving park skis are still pretty new and small segment so not much out the to compare to

I owned a pair of these but ended up selling them because I took out my sakanas more. I'm not much of a park skier so the sakanas fit my style more but the strangers are honestly so fun I find myself missing them. Similar to the mirus cor but more poppy and way more fun to butter around on. The 100mm waist is less twitchy and the platform is better for everyday skiing. Highly recommend if you don't have a niche playful carver already.

I have a pair, mounted them at recommended for a while. Def a "strange" ski, can do really short radius carves but also totally fine to handle some pow. I remounted them to where mike mounted them (forgot if it was -2.5 or sth) felt a lot more playful and more natural (to me at least). Def love the ski, but sometimes i dunno when i should bring them out lol

has anyone compered the stranger to the declivity 102ti? im going to pickup one of these and i cant decide which. They would be replacing a pair of 2018 line bacons.

One is a direction carving ski with medal, the other is a full wood twin, they are completely different. Stranger will be closer to the bacon ig, but completely different overall.

Cool thank you for the clarification!

Demo'd these last year and had a blast. The season Kin is a good comparison, just as playful with a short turning radius, but wider and the big shovel blows through crud.

Strangers are fun for sure. Mirus Cor feels more like a boomer ski if you put it at rec but nobody here would do that. At rec the Strangers have the softest tail I've ever experienced which is a blast. Tbh I'd go Stangers only based on the Mirus being $1300 CAD.
