Armada Softshell

I have kind of been looking at an Armada soft shell and am confused about it. Is it pretty much a sweatshirt? Or more like a shell coat just a different material? How warm does it keep you? Any help is appreciated

softshells are the best, i dont have an armada 1 but i love mine
