Armada, Ski Help

Hey guys, im new to the site but im just wondering if I could get some help with choosing this years skis.. So basically my options are the T-Halls, Ar7's, or Halo's. So far I understand the T-halls are softer than the ar7's in both tip and tail, however the ar7s are more of a park/all mountain ski. And if anyone here has ridden the Ar7s, do they feel like more of a stiffer , or playful ski? The Halos, on the other hand, have the elf shoe design and obviously are rockered ; other than that I dont know too much about that ski.. Im on the East Coast, ski mostly rails, but also hit jumps around 40 ft. Im around 6 ft... Also for ski size, would 177 be better than a 181? Any help is greatly appreciated

dont know much about halos but out of thalls or ar7's i'd go for some ar7's simply cus they are a better all around ski. if your planing to ski outside the park the ar7 could take you there. and go for the 181 length since your gonna be mounting near the center so they'll still ski shorter. hope that helps and have fun out there

Halos have the same core, just less of it, and base as the AR7, but are rockered and ski crazy short. Their swing weight is super low, so if you really spend a shit ton of time in the park you're not gonna do much better than that. The AR7 because of the way its built will be a more versatile ski.

okay thanks a lot for the responses.. i was thinking i would go with the thalls because there softer than the ar7s, and im looking for the softer, more jib like ski

i got 181 thalls. they are the most fun park ski i have had yet. they are softer in the tip and tail. its helps with presses/butters. but it with the softer tips and a stiffer underfoot, it makes for a really smooth ride. you dont feel ruts and bumps. can preach them enough. good luck hope it helps

Hahaha i had this EXACT same dilemma today..
I ended up ordering the AR7's
I ski about 90% park. I decided on the AR7's because i like the idea of a stiffer ski in my quiver. The THALLS also really appealed to me, however i ski NO pipe and am more likely to be taking my skis outside of the park on some groomers/pow runs which the ar7's will handle better.

very true i always like a good groomer or pow run or what not, but since im on the east coast its not like we have too much vertical to charge down haha. And di d you mount your thalls center, or..?
