I'm 5'8" 165lbs and I ski on the east coast, I ski mostly park, but rip some hardpack every now and then, I ski mostly pipe, jumps and afew rails now and thenbut i also deal with a lot of icy conditions. How would the 176cm Pipe Cleaners work for me?

i have the 2010 salomon spk pro boots

They would be perfect - I had a pair of the original PC's and they were by far one of the best skis I've ever owned.

excellent job asking, gave all the right info, they sound perfect for you, just go easy on those rails, they don't have the base that the AR6s and THalls have, its meant for speed not abuse so its a little fragile (but since you only do "some" rails, they should be fine)

Pipe Cleaners are fine on rails. If you have lots of ice I recommend 181s which will also be more stable when you are not on ice. Oh and don't mount center.

im 5 10 and i got my t halls as 181 s and now i kinda regret getting such a long ski because they are a lil heavier and i cant spin as fast with them... but some postive things of havin a long ski is that they ski faster, and are easier to stomp bigger landings and hit the hill s with icy conditions... if i were you i would go for the 176s . and plus everyone ive talked to who has the pipe cleaners say they re sick!!!! so get them asap!!!

^^

and rails don't mess anything up, trust me. the only thing that happened with mine was edge cracking, and that's from 2 seasons of riding.

think about it.. have you ever fucked up your bases doing rails..? then think about how it would be harder to ruin a harder base than a softer one.

good to here both sides. I guess it depends on how big of a park he is going to be using them in too. I got 181s since my mountains park is supposed to have some pretty large jumps next year.

im def gonna get the pipe cleaners but i was thinking im gonna get em center set but now i dunno any suggestions i ski at blue btw
