Armada Ordinary Pant

Just before Christmas I bought a pair of Armada Ordinary pants, they have recently been cut by my ski edge. It has cut straight through to the second layer. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?699739.jpeg

 
this is kinda normal wear and tear it looks like. Bottom of the pant fills with snow/ice by the end of the day right? It usually doesn't happen in a season, but most pants get similar cuts after 2 or 3 seasons. I got new armada pants this season cuz my old ones did this after 3 years of use. It sucks but it just kinda happens. Duck tape might make them last but idk.
 
just stitch them back up, i cut the insides of my pants fairly badly while skiing and I have never had a problem with stitching
