Give him an invite to xgames realski! Sammy's bound to pull out to focus on his film. Cassabon impressed tons... the only part I would have trimmed would be a few shots of Kim in the opening seg doing some wall stall/ride shiz that wasn't on the level as everything else. so good though overall.

It has been too long since I saw something that good from Phil.

It's amazing that, that was free. That was so enjoyable to watch.
 
Kims segment was definitely the stand out to me. Phils presses were insane but we expect nothing less from the man,cold blooded killer. Hornbeck's part was insane too
 
I was so fucking stoked when Kim opened up with banger shots to an even better song. So refreshing to see an edit with some hard rock, wouldn't mind more Metallica ski edits haha
 
Damn. Has the shift to the crew based movies begun? Because that was one of the best movies I've seen in years. Every single part was banger. Kim fucking killed it as an opener, and it only got better from there, and I'm not the biggest B&E fanboy out there.
 
Refreshing to hear some individuality in the athlete narratives, instead of the same tired cliches. Great skiing too, obviously...
 
I was really psyched on Bobergs segment actually, cab 180 to 50/50 (ski slide, w/e) is like my favorite trick haha

And Henriks backswap at around 840 was so perfect, and it was on a 4kink lol. madness
 
Out of the three movies I've seen this year (Less, The Recruitment, and this), Oil and Water is by far the best. Bangers from start to finish. Really liked that hornbeck came out with a sick seggy, as it had been awhile since I'd been wowed by him, and casabon and Henrik are so fun to watch when their skiing isn't obscured by editing.
 
This is actually one of the first movies i fully enjoyed all the way trough. Every rider had a huge creative imput into this i think. Also every song truely fitted every segment.
 
this and the brs movie were so insanely good i can't believe that they were free. henrik is the best there is, phil slayed and is the best rail skier out, hornbeck is one steezy og, and kim's segment really surprised me as i had not seen much from him. all with a cool editing style that flowed together really well. 10/10

Totally agree, less was sick but not the best. It was simple and cool, the recruitment was a let down with such a lack of skiing and the hipster editing ruined the movie. Oil & Water was simple and gave some insight on each skies personality. Kim's segment was rock solid, its nice to see someone ski with their own style. I think Oil & Water was my favorite because each skier in the movie has their own style so you never feel like you're watching the same thing over and over.
 
I was disappointed by hirnbecks segment. It seems like his style has changed and involves a lot more arm waving. A couple years ago I though this style was some of the best in the game but idk anymore.
 
fuck that was a good movie. just watched it for the first time and holy fuck so many good shots from every person in that. so sick that its free. i really liked kims style of hitting urban, over all sick style to the movie. 10/10 would watch again.
