Armada mounting question

First off hi all, just joined and hope i put this in the right section.

so i just acquired a pair of 2009 armada arv's 175 and they are not center mounted and the recommended position is way back. I want to center mount and try the whole park thing out, its brand new for me. by the way Im not concerned with all mountain performance because i just got the new k2 shreditor 112.

so what im thinking is if I take the binding off, measure and find center and literately measure off the old holes and move the binding accordingly. for example i was just playing around and it looks like the whole binding will move up 3 inches to move the mid boot sole mark up to center. is this correct? im also aware that the binding has to be centered on the ski and what not

Thanks, Alec

Don't try to remount yourself. Just take them to a shop and have them do it. Unless you have experience mounting you run te risk of messing it up and potentially damaging the skis to the extent they can't be skied. Also if you don't know how to set the bindings up correctly there is a chance you will injure your self. It will cost about 35 and be worth every penny.

You should mount at least one back from true center since its not a symmetrical ski. Will work the best at that position and just take it to a shop and have them mount it. Easier and safer.

there was only one marking and it was 3 inches from center, drilled to 9mm like written and put some epoxy on screws, seemed sketchy but they seem sturdy, thanks all
