Pretty much a dedicated storm day/pow ski. I like a twin that's a little softer and definitely more playful. Looking in the 112-118 width range. Any other ideas?
JJ is an amazing ski. If you aren't trying to ski anything that's truly big mountain (and I mean truly) then it will be plenty stiff for pow day cruising, and the things are buttery as hell.
Other things to look into would be the Line Mordecai, and the 'chets, or if trackpants are your thing just get some fucking Kartels.
If you like armada Magic J's are a far better ski than the JJ. I know the Magic J graphic this year is a bit out there but I still like them. Basically if you land backseat on JJ's you just wash out but the Magic J will hold on the tail and you press on it to get forward again. I think for "a dedicated storm day/pow ski you should go 120mm+. 110-118mm underfoot is a better width for a big mountain ski than a pow ski. Also check out the Black Crows Nocta if you have $$$$
