Armada Halo VS THall

Yep, it's another one of those threads.

I like both skis, have tried both before, but can't really decide between them. I do mostly rails and butters, so either one seems like it'd work fine and i'd be happy with them. i really like the halos because surface swaps are super easy to do, and i never catch my edges, and when i tried them last they busted through crud like nothing else. But last season i started getting a little into pipe, and i was worried they wouldn't work well at all for it what with their rocker and short turn radius and all. On the other hand, the thall's have a much longer turn radius and are stabler underfoot with full camber, but does that detract from their performance in other areas too much? would they be able to swap, butter, and ski through crud as effortlessly as the halos? I also would like to know if theres a big difference in swing weight

Any help is much appreciated

ok, have not skiied those...BUT, i do think you should go with halos. The reason is I've heard they kill in the park. Everywhere in the park. and becuase YOU LIKE THEM. So you know what your getting.

I haven't skied the Halos, but as for the THalls I love them. To me they are super buttery and feel easy to swap, even though I am by no means a pro at swaps. On jumps they feel stable, granted biggest jump I hit was 55 ft. Mine have help up really well too. Topsheets are scraped all to hell, but the bases are gash free and the edges have only one minor crack. As for all mountain stuff, they are really fun, I feel like they are nimble and hold an edge pretty well. It can get a little sketchy on crud when you are going fast, but this is to be expected with a park ski. You can ski them effectively all over the mountain, just will require a little more effort.

Again I can't speak for the Halo but you can't go wrong with the THalls.
