Armada Halo or Alpha 1????

it depends on what you looking for. the halo is a lighter ski with more flex and the alpha is stiffer and heavy

After owning 181 alpha ones for a season, and riding my friends halos, i would go with halos

that being said i think they are very similar skis, the alpha one is pretty stuff, but when i skied on the my friends new halos also 181 there really were not much softer, so the halo IMO is not a soft ski at all

They both hold there own in the park, the alpha 1 has the race base which i dont think makes much of a difference unless you wax your skis all the time, which i didnt, probably should have

The alpha 1s and pretty solid on rails, i really like them, im using them this year on rails, even though the edges are cracked and really worn down, there sick on jumps i love them, not super stable, but i they feel really solid on landings from big jumps

If i could do it again, i would go halo, or even better arv, i didnt find they rode great all over the mountain IMO, thats why i went with On3p
 
they are bery similar but sepends on what you are looking for if you really want some good advice send profahoben a message he has a pair of halos and a good friend of his has alpha 1i think the alpha 1 are pretty sick though
 
Probably the Halo. But next time give some insight to your preference in skis, what kind of features you hit etc...just stating Alpha 1 or Halo doesn't really help out those trying to give advice
 
I also were thinking about halos and a lot of people tod me that they held up on jumps pretty well too as long as there not 60+ feet. I also heard they shred rails.
 
Because you are so light I would say the halos. I own a pair of alpha 1's and they are very stiff and I weigh 180.
