ARMADA HALO 2 QUESTIONS

Has anybody ridden these?? Can't find too many people. Really want them but need some advice.

How well do they hold up on the East Coast groomers/Ice?

Anybody been beating them on rails? I hear they are pretty durable.. with the S7 base and the 2.5mm edges.

The base is apparently a less maintenance base, so will it keep it's speed unlike shitty Line's that always get real slow....? I like fast skis....

I am a little concerned with the 5 dimension side cut. Will the whole ski be in use when carving on the groomers or just up to where the skis is the fattest on the tip and tail?

Ive only ridden the halo 1 but can answer most of those questions.

1.Not that bad but not great, they arent really a groomer ski.

2. They are pretty durable. Armada are in general well made and the fat edge on the park skis (except al dente) lasts as well as any ive tried.

3. Not slow like line/k2 extruded. The s7 is a low end sintered base, it runs decently and holds wax well. If you want a faster ski that is slightly better on groomers get the alpha x.

4. No, the only part in contact with the snow is between the two wide points.
