ARMADA El Rey

these will most likely be my ski for next season, just wanted a little more info on them, if anyone has riden them, or is currently riding them i'd like to know how stiff they are, and if they can hold their own in the park (where i will be spending almost all of my time

They are a cap ski and is cheaper, But I say Armada does a better job than most companies for a Price point ski.

It will be stiffer than most park skis but if your gonna be everywhere on the mountain and want somthing more stable, El rey will be a good choice.

You can usually find them for $300 in the spring/off season.

I ride em, flex patterns different than the AR7 but they do fine in the park( its my park ski) best way to describe it is bang for your buck

I'm curious about these skis. My current skis are starting to get haggard and I may need a cheap/durable pair. Kind of a threadjack I guess but can anyone comment on how these preform as a dedicated park ski? I know they're price point but long story short I'm poor right now.

Not a big deal, edges will usually crack once within the first month of riding. Detune them to help avoid this

Yeah, they're now the softest skis I've ever used/seen. I'd be curious if this is the case with any other el reys.

I love them. So gooooood :D Stiffer than other skis, but as said here before, they get softer (if you like that). They're pretty light aswell. REALLY stable.
