I dont know much about any armada skis i was just wondering if the el reys are any good for cruzing around on grommers some powder every now and then some rails and some smaller to medium jumps thanks for the help
 
They are actually made for everything you just described. My friends got a pair and they do everything, from park to shitty ice days to powder. Not the best powder ski but theyll still be fun
 
it's Armada's all-mountain price point ski, so it goes everywhere pretty well and is cheaper. It has cap construction so it'll be pretty durable but might have some slippage in icy conditions. The Fleet core is relatively new, it is similar to the core of the PC, it has the S7 base that the AR6 has. It is a good ski, but not as good as the AR6 or PC.
 
Park specialty skis are better for the park & air (more stable wider turn radius) but EL Rey is quicker turning and has more float for pow. Generally it has wide tip and tail with narrower waist. Good general purpose do anything ski.
 
Armada makes Great skis. I really like the El Rey, it's good for almost anywhere on the mountain. Very versatile
 
Ya i just got the '10 el rey and it is a great all around ski, its stiff enough for medium to big jumps and ais pretty good on rails. i love the ski
 
anyone know where to find a cheap pair of the El Rey im gonna buy them. Any cheap websites to buy skiies and gear off of would be sick
 
I got the Armada El Rey 09s because I was just starting skiing and wanted to be able to do everything. I could not have been more happy with them, great price, light durable ski that does it all just like everyone has said. If you are not looking to spend a fortune and want a ski that does everything that you described, I would definitely recommend the El Rey.

The only complaint I had, and it is really not important, is that the top of the ski has a gloss finish to make it shinny. This gloss finish scratches real easily, but like I said before, it doesnt take anything away from the performance of the ski. which is the most important thing
