Armada Declivity X?

Does anyone have experience with the Declivity X? Seems like it has gone under the radar. I found a cheap second hand pair with shift bindings (around $600). Planning on using them for powder days in the resort and the occasional touring trip. Any input is greatly appreciated!

it's a cool ski, stiff like a metal ski but no metal inside. it is a charger ski more than a pow ski.

They are super sick. Great for pow, great for boilerplate, everything in between is great. I’m touring with them now, they are sick for a stiff secondary tour ski for high consequence objectives, not 8k days.

nice! i was talking out of my ass and have never owned them. should i buy a pair my friend is selling? any sidewall issues with yours? how many days skied?

These skis are super stable yet damp and nimble. I mounted +1.6 up, makes it feel a bit more centered and very playful in the steeps. Holds an edge insanely well. Chargers for variable terrain. A forgiving ski that you can really boss the mountain around on.

[tag=50827]@alpineplease[/tag], Thanks man - super helpful! Im mostly a resort warrior, but I want a ski where I can join my touring friends for the occasional Sunday trip. Should I be worried about the weight and width?

if you're a resort warrior you will destroy everything.

for touring, they are fine! just did 2k vert on them saturday. they hold an edge well climbing.
