Factory recommended is -8 from center.

Seems a little far back...anyone go -6 or -5?

FWIW I'm not often landing switch in pow but like to hit things switch

 
I own the 188, and i mounted at recommended. I heard that the mounting point was very sensitive on this ski, so I wouldnt mess around with it like you can with some other skis.
 
Cheers bud, i'd heard that about the ARG...thought the bubba's might be different.

Recommended because of the amount of tip rocker and taper. You have to have some sidecut out infront of the binding. Don't even condsider anything else.
