Just curious what kind of bindings are the Armada Crew riding with?? Salomons, Rossi??

just wondering with all the hype around the armada ski no one has mentioned anything about bindings.

Funny how tanner left rossi to ski armada but still chooses to ride rossi bindings. I wonder if he rides rossi boots to? He would have been riding them for a while and hes beeen going pretty good in them so why not continue??

in the pics that mammothpunks posted he's riding his armada's with S912ti's. But in the x games pipe i think it looked liked he had the Look Pivot style bindings, or rossi axel same thing.

hes not on a pivot/axial hes on the zrx racestock binder. its alot more rugged, cause its pretty much solid metal.

actually I was talking with tanner the other day and he was on a special armada prototype binding that looks like pivots in every way. the binding is due for release in mid 2010.

mid 2010? why the fuck would he have a prototype out now then? prototypes for the ski industry comes out 3 years max before they're released! especially if it's similar to the look/rossi style of binding!

why the fuck would armada come out with a binding so soon? they don't even know if they'll survive their first few years!

Wouldn't most Armada riders have bindings left over from their previous sponsors? Why not use them? Oh wait, it seems that that's exactly what they're doing. I've seen pics of JF on his Armadas with Salomon bindings, and Tanner riding Looks/Rossi's(same company), so might that not be what's going on?

yeah, I think anthony is rockin' rossi binders. They aren't the axial style though, just like all of the other rossi team binders.

well I saw Ian Ekkerbert, armadas new am rider, and he had the new line binding on his skis, not the reactor but the new one, the optimizer. seriously its a crazy binding... actually come to think of it its not really much of a binding more like a rope that you wrap around your boot a couple times and tie it in a knot.

 
It's pretty good with companies like Armada and K2 that they have the freedom to ride whatever boot/binding you want since boots/bindings are more important to me than skis. Same thing with Line, most riders probably don't use the transfer boot and until the Reactor was made they were all using other bindings. But companies like Rossi and Salomon you have to use their stuff even if you hate the **** but love the ****.
