Armada B-Dog Ski

Hello Newschoolers, my name is Gustav and I'm a skier from Sweden. Recently i bought a pair of WhiteDot Zero-one skis and i honestly thought they were one of the best pair of skis I've ever ridden. However there was one major flaw; both skis broke after only 2 weeks of skiing. It was almost like they were made out of Styrofoam.

Now I'm here asking for your help. I'm looking for a ski that feels like the Zero-One(Light, flexible and with a rocker) and I've been looking at the B-Dogs. Are they enjoyable to ride, are they durable and would you recommend it? Other suggestions are welcome!

The Zero. One has no camber, underfoot so that feels pretty different from a ski like the b-dog, which while having lots of rocker tip and tail, has lots of camber underfoot too. That means it doesn't slip in to comfortable presses in quite the same way. It's also a bit stiffer than the zero.one. That doesn't mean it's a bad alternative, it just won't feel the same.

Firstly, I'd probably send whitedot an email and see if they will warranty the skis. Aside from that, the closest thing is probably K2 Domains. They have extruded bases so they're pretty slow, but other than that they are fairly similar skis in terms of feel. If you're not averse to a wider ski, the Faction 2.0 is also a great option.

I've actually been looking alot at the Faction 2.0 but my main concern is the durability of the ski. It's got the same shape as the Zero-one at the edges(Angled) which is where my Zero-ones broke. I ride rather aggresive so i want a ski that can take an impact. I'm pretty light weight 75kg(165lbs)

After checking the prices on the 2.0's I'm quite sure i wont afford it even if i fast this month. Apparently there aren't any Faction retailers in Sweden so i would end up paying quite alot of shipping. Guess I'll end up buying K2 Domains.Great review by the way, would've loved to buy a pair!
