Armada ARV

Hey NS,

I'm looking around at some skis and have come across the ARV a couple of times. I know they're from a few years back (looking at mostly the 2010s) and saw that some people stood by them. What are your guys' opinions on them? Thanks!
 
I have a pair from like 08 or something, they are dope, pretty damn soft and playful but at the same time they have mad edges that shred rails. A little bit more swing weight, its a heavier ski. It makes up for that by being able to ride pow like a beast tho.
 
i used mine for years in literally every different type of skiing imaginable and i loved them. a little softer than i'd like, and i like nose rocker so in the future ill get the ARVtis....but i am a huge fan of the ARVs and highly recommend them

i don't think theyre heavy at all^, i dont feel like looking up weights but i dont remember that being the case. theyre super super versatile and i absolutely trashed them and they held up to the abuse super well

return of the ARV! they're gonna come in 86, 96 and 106 waist. looks like they're making them stiffer next year though. good ski to fill the all mountain/park ski that isnt a noodle niche in their lineup with the discontinuation of the alpha x in 2015-2016. i'll be considering them because i'll probably need some new sticks next season

honestly they look really tempting. wonder if its better to get some 2010s really cheap or spend a lot for those
