Armada arv vs. ar6

I just bought some 2008 ar6's off ebay but was accidently sent arv's instead. Should i keep the arv's or return them to get the ar6's? I live on the east coast and am a aggressive skier who skies all mountain but wants to get more into park and rails this year.

The ARVs are the quintessential all mountain ski.

I, too, live on the East and I can personally say that the ARVs killed it in the park (mine are 06/07, VERY soft) but at the same time kill it in the soft pow.

The only areas where I don't like them are 1) charging - they are chattery, or 2) crud - they simply aren't beefy enough to blast through the crud.

However, this years ARV is supposed to be stiffer, and from when I flexed them in the shop they definitely were, but they are still on the softer side

Hope this helps, feel free to PM me with more specific questions.

i have ar6's which i love but when i broke my old skis and sent them in for warranty i had to ride demos arv's for two weeks and they were a fun ski, alot more flexible than the public enemies that i broke but since they were demos i wasnt aloud to use them on rails so i didnt really get to test the park side of them.

if i had to chose between arv and ar6 for park and a bit of other stuff i would choose the ar6.

Thanks for the advice. The main concern i have with the arv's is on the rails. I'm not sure how they will perform/ hold up when compared to the ar6's.

i ride arvs in new zeland were i have been told has simmilar conditions to east coast. arvs are great on pow days and through the park. they ony suck on late spring mornings off trail where its buletproof and rough as fuck abut wen it softens they charge like nothing else
