hey i need some new skis, i broke 2 of my atomic triplets, i ski park about 50% of time, rest mostly on double black trees, and every once in a while a groomer. im 5 10, bout 160 pounds, aggresive skiier. im looking at skis in vernon, theres lotsa sales on right now, and i think il get either Movement Joystick 176 cm or Armada ARV 175 cm, both 2006 model i think. theyre about the same price, so im not worryin about that, but is one ski really a lot better than the other or is it just preferance? thanks

ARV is a sick ski, but i would consider going with the 185 if you are 5'10". i think it would suit you better as an agressive skier

Are you kidding? If this guy fits the profile of most others on this site he's probably not even 150 lbs. Stick with the 175 unless you intend to do a shitload of pow.

Im pretty much the same height and weight as you and I loved my 175 ARVs as an allmountain/park ski. But, if you do a lot gnarly stuff, trees, pow etc, I think you will enjoy the 185 a lot more. The 175 left a lot to be desired in terms of powder.

ok i think ill probably go with the 175 arv, im not sure about the longer ones and we dont get much open powder at silver star, mostly finding it in tight trees, so i need to be able to turn pretty fast. i was just wondering if anyone knows how well you can spin with them, im used to a bit shorter and lighter skis. i liked the atomics opposed to my scratchs (which now feel like snoblades....) because they were really stable in the air, hard to go off axis without meaning to.

thx for all the responses
