Armada ARV 96 or ON3P magnus 90

I need new park skis for next year and I’m wondering if I should get ARV 96s or magnus 90s. I’m 5’5, 110 lbs and I want a playful buttery ski.

I cant say how well the arvs slide as the company was against us hitting rails on demo skis but the magnus have more control and flex easier across the entire ski

Based off what I know, the magnus 90s are a pretty dedicated park ski which will be better for butters because they are softer and have more rocker than the 96. The arv 96 is more an all mountain and park ski and will be more versatile in general but less playful. It depends how much time you spend in the park vs. the rest of the mountain, plus the mountain that you ski at. Also the Magnus are a bit more money than the arv 96, if that matters. Correct me if I'm wrong about anything everyone.

I owned both skis and the biggest difference I've found, besides obviously the way they ski, is that the Magnus is a lot more durable (only 1 edge crack in 20-25 days) while the ARVs deleamed beneath the bindings with only 5 days on them. Skiing wise, the Magnus is a very good ski on rails and its low swing weight feels really nice when spinning on and off of rails. It also feels good and quite stable on bigger kickers while still being easy to butter. The only thing that is kind of strange at first is the small radius on the Magnus but once you're getting used to it it will not be a problem any more. The ARVs feel quite similar actually, but have a more traditional profile which makes them feel a bit stiffer than the Magnus and might give them a slight advantage on kickers. Anyway, if you have the money I'd go Magnus just because based on my experience they are the more durable of the two skis.

Arv 96's are more of a chargy mid-fat. I did like their stability on rails and landings but I like soft and playful preferably. Don't really care about ruining my skis.

I rode the arv last season and the magnus 90s this season for mostly park definetly the magnus 90 rails and rail spins are so much easier I couldn’t tell the difference on jumps but the magnus kinda suck a lot when you are not in the park

The ARV 96 would not be specifically considered a playful, buttery ski. That's more all-round rails and jumps, plus some all mountain. Vishnus are most playful, Magnus second most
