I am thinking about getting the armada ar7's and would like you opinion on them and if you don't like them what would you recommend? I do big jumps, rails boxes the works...........

if you want to just do park buy them, if you want to do more than park get rossignol scratch ski's they have the same feel, but ride better in powder and shtuff.

Not at all. The AR7 is designed as a park/all-mountain ski. The scratch is a dedicated park ski. The AR7 is also wider, so better float

Ya i have them and would recommend them to anyone that skis park. They are light and the swing weight it unnoticeable. i have alos skied a good amount of trees and pow with them and they were great there too.

I love mine, I just wish they were a bit more buttery, but that shouldnt be a problem for you cause you said you hit big jumps

I got last years but I really love them.

Going off big jumps, doing butters, hitting rails or just jib around the mountain.

Superpoppy ski. What you lose in butterysoftness, you get the pop instead.

this is very accurate. im 175 lbs and 6' and i cant really butter the skis, but boy they pop

if you want pop, get the AR7s

if you want to butter and press, get Thalls

geartalk for the future...

Id rather get the ar7, the halo is a soft girls ski. Be a man. Get the Ar7. it adds 2 inches to testicle drop, so you go from boy (assuming, because of NS)to BULL.

I have 171 AR-7s and i love them and selling them. they have look px-12 bindings too. i just want to try something different, but i would love to sell them to you if you want.

i am not normally one to do this but I am really torn between either 176 or 181 and i really don't know what size to use of the ar7s what do you guys think is a better size?

Sorry for semi thread jack, but what is the swing weight like compared to afterbangs? I have afterbangs right now and it's hard to get spins around for me and i want a stiffer ski. And maybe compare it to Atomic Punx since they have really low swing weight.

Yep. Good guess at my height Mark. Yeah AR7 are great. I love them. They are durable extremely poppy pretty stiff but okay at butter and the edges are so sick. IMO the graphics are sick too. Great park ski that is nice and fast for all mtn as well.

I went from the a bangs to the ar7 and it is a TON different, these feel like nothing on your feet, they are so easy to get around.

Can you still press on them! ^ someone up there said theyr not good for pressing but edollo does nose and tail press all the time?

^well they are not ideal for doing presses but it is possible if you are heavy or have very strong legs, and just because a pro can do something on a ski is no reason to buy it, if you want a more rail oriented ski go with the t halls

I personally love nearly all armada gear. I think it is great quality for a reasonable price. I would defiantly reccomend these skis.
