Armada ANTs Vs. Line Prophet 130

Which should i get, i want somethin to blast through the heavy jackson hole crud and ski the deep stuff. this is what i narrowed it down to. Im 5 feet 11 inches and 185 pounds.

prophets. if its powder only that u want which im guessing it is cuz the ski is 130 underfoot then get the prophets the fatter the better for pow.

The Prophet 100 has the metal matrix making it ideal for straightlining ect., but they left it out of the 130.

If anything I think that the ANT will ski much more like the Prophet 100 than the 130.

I didnt know they left the ti out of the 130, will it be in next years? if they leave it out ill prolly go with ANTs but id like to hear more opinions.

They are differnt skis, the ANT will rock your ass if you don't have everything together. The prophet is soft and a lot more foregiving.

everyone says this shit, I have had the ants for a year now and they are fucking solid. I can be a critic here because I havent skiied the prophet 130, but believe me the Ant is as solid a ski as you need. Fairly light as well and not to bad to throw around in tight places. They are just so stable, I couldnt imagine skiing anything else right now.

Yo yo yo, here's the deal, my friend rides the 130s, i have ants, we have the same boot size so we switch off often and here's my review. Ants raping and pillaging ski at its finest, relatively light, big and pretty stiff. These skis ski the best when they are pointed straight down the hill, tight trees can be alot of work, especially in variable snow conditions, so can technical big mountain areas, these skis excell in big cliff drops into chopped up snow where you need to blast out at mach 1000 and not dead, they are sick for that, prophets are just basically sick for everything, they float better, they have less swing weight (don't ask me why but they do) and they turn ALOT quicker which means they're better for tree skiing and what not. They also blast crud, but not because they're so stiff, they just float over all the chop and allow you to surf the top layer which is an amazing feeling. They suck to hike witht though because they are heavier and snow gets stuck to the massive topsheet making them heavier. So yeah if you want to float phophet, if you want to blast ANT.

i don't think this is a mater of how well they ski, because they are both excellent skiis, I think it come down more to your riding style. The ANTs would probably fit the best.

Yes, the few times they just felt softer than the ANT's I don't know where it came from that I thought the ANT is a bad ride. When I rode them I just felt the ANT while stable would get out of sorts easier than the 130's though maybe my form sucks.

whats a comparible ski to the Ant. Currently its at the top of my list for my next year ski to buy but what are some other options.
