Armada Anchorage Ski Bag

Does anyone know how much this bag weighs? I'm looking for the lightest bag possible.
Any other suggestions for bags that are nice and light but can still hold 2 pairs of skis?
Thanks

I owned last year's bag, but I don't know the weight off hand. I will say that while it wasn't the lightest thing out there it was very durable. It's one thing you will find with ski bags- padded and durable do not equal light. Are flying internationally or just within your country?

In the US...I'm not going to be assraped by overweight charges and my carry on is always packed with necessary stuff (basically enough stuff to ski if my checked bag gets lost).
Dakine's site says the fall line double is 8 pounds. Add 26 for Chronics/FKS and JJ's/Jesters and I still have some good room left over. I can always add padding with clothes around tips and tails.

I had no problem flying in the US with two pairs of skis + bindings , two pairs of poles, and small things like gloves and a jacket.

If you try to fit all of that plus boots, you will probably be over the weight limit.

I have last years bag (same thing different color logo)

I was always under weight (not by much, but usually around 45lbs) with 2 of everything- skis, poles, pants, jacket, thermals, socks, hoodies, gloves and goggles.

dakine has some tight bags.

i have one that holds 2 pairs of skis (i fit 183cm ninthward's in there...on this thought imma go try and fit my 189 onelifes in this thing...haven't tried it yet).

the one i have weighs 8 pounds w/o anything in it

I have last years and when we took a trip out west we got 4 pairs in it no problem, but no more that 4 will fit. Its a real solid back, nice quality, but I have no idea on the wieght.

Yeh, I've heard this too, see schmuck's review here - https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/content/reviews/action/read/id/1807/
