Hey guys,

I

wanted to give everyone a little heads up about a two week long ski and

outerwear test trip to Las Lenas, Argentina, as I'm sure a lot of

people on here will be interested to hear about some of the baller skis for the

2011/2012 season..... (you've all heard some of the hype on a few of these)

Among

others....we're taking down the 190

ON3P Caylor,
the 196 MOMENT Bibby Special

and

the 195 Armada AK JJ

Stay

tuned, and check in at http://blistergearreview.com/

and

for

a full list of the gear we'll be taking, as well as updates on how it all

performs on the snow

Thanks

everyone!

(Please note that this is not an attempt at spamming or outright advertising only a heads up on where you can find some very good info on these skis in the next few weeks. We will post full reviews to NS once they are ready)

Full Press Release ------------------------------

The website BlisterGearReview.com is

sending a team of reviewers to Las Lenas, Argentina, to test and report on of

some of the most highly anticipated gear of the upcoming ski season.

Starting August 7th, 2011, Blister Gear

Review has committed two full weeks to putting this gear through it's paces, in

some of South America's most famous terrain.

After months of research and debate over

what products would make the cut for the review trip, members of BLISTER’s

staff have settled on what they believe to be some of the most interesting and

notable skis and outerwear of the 11/12 winter season.

With gear selections from Armada, Volkl,

MOMENT, Black Diamond, ON3P, Lange, Patagonia, TREW, and The North Face,

BLISTER's goals are straightforward: to provide readers with expert, honest,

and thorough reviews.

This commitment to publish the most

informative reviews available is nothing new to BLISTER, as it began rolling

out product reviews midway through the 2010/2011 season.

The Argentina trip is an opportunity to

provide readers with unbiased, detailed information, and to enable them to make

truly informed decisions about their gear purchases before the start of the

2011 buying season.

From Argentina, BLISTER reviewers will

post daily gear updates as well as present advice to readers about South

American ski travel.

With a substantial collection of reviews already

assembled, BLISTER will continue to establish itself as a valuable resource in

the world of ski, snowboard, and mountain bike reviews, and will continue to

conduct tests from its home resorts of Alta, Jackson Hole, and Taos.

specific equipment being reviewed, please visit www.blistergearreview.com

Great stuff. Good idea to send gear to the southern hemisphere so you can test it before the majority of the people are buying for next season.

I know, I know, someone's gotta do it!

One note, remember we have the entire season back in North America to get time on the other gear.

Be sure to tell us what you think we absolutely, positively, MUST ride and review once the snow starts to fall in the northern hemisphere!

Yes 191 Caylor, apologies (lot's of measurements and dimensions flying around here)

We too, are really, really stoked

i want to hear how the new jeronimo with the more elliptical rocker compares to review from this past season. you were probably the only one to not say it was a great 50/50 ski or one ski quiver.

Definitely, we'll get on it

The JMo certainly deserves a look this season. As you've mentioned, it's apparently being built with a slightly softer flex underfoot, a bit less camber, and and less abrupt rocker with the "elliptical rocker" profile. With those tweaks, it sounds like the 2012 JMo could really shine

I think the forward skiing position needed on the Bibbys might just be to do with Bibbys style as this has been mentioned a lot about his skis.

Technically you should be in a forward/balanced position anyway but I ski the original Bibbys and find you can get sent back seat fairly easily but you tend to be able to spring back up, would love to get some 190s though.
