I used it for a while worked great for me. Decent selection of songs, speedy downloads(little slow on lesser known songs), but not good unless ur on a fast connection...

I had Ares for a while and i got wayyyyy better songs than on Kazaa. I also have Lime wire but i've never used it so i can't say if its good or bad

 
it's the best p2p program outthere. limewire is pretty up there too, but there are some nasty viruses lurking about, kazaa is just crap, completely popup / virus ridden, ares is the schit.

yup, i used Kazaa, fucked up my computer with popups and spyware, Limewire gave me a wicked bad virus, and ever since i've been using Ares, i havent had a single problem. its quality stuff

and no, you dont have to pay for it

^ limewire gave me a virus that wiped my HD. never using that program again.

shit ive never had a problem with limewire but when i got ares a while ago there wasnt much in the way off songs so i got limewire
