Are theses done?

hi there, got a pair of skis that got remounted and over the summer these showed up...same position on both right and left skis...

Are these basically done?

well, you should definitely contact the shop, who mounted them.

I remember the same problem I faced when I was mounting Tyrolia Attacks. There was a batch of these bindings with incorrect heel screws and there were a lot of mentions of this here and on TGR. However, I realized that on the first screw.

oh wow, thanks for pointing that out. Did not know that was an issue. Will talk to the shop for sure. Cheers

Dimpled bases are definitely not ideal, bring them back to the shop. There are a number of reasons that could have happened.

I’ve had a couple pairs of skis dimple on the mount, but not as bad as what yours looks. I took a razor blade to mine and just skied them. At least mine was a self mount so I took it as my own mistake to learn from. I did have a shop slightly simple my Lizzie’s on their initial mount, that was a big sad moment.

Will talk to the shop first, thanks for input!

You can probably just take a sander to the bases and smooth out those bumps no problem

yea, was thinking going to shop first and then if all else fails. see if local repair guy can fix it with base grind.

You actually can fix the bubbles little bit by applying pressure from the base. And then base grind.
