Nah, he just dresses how he likes and doesn't give a fuck what you think. Goths dress how they dress, dyed hair pierced lip etc., to get attention.

I saw one in the lodge once, some teenage ski bus kid taking off some of the eyeliner and lipstick before they went out, but keeping the chains and cuffs somehow.
