Are there any good rock bands left?

I have a friend who went and did a bunch of music with them over in Europe. blew my mind knowing she was playing with people like the bassist from Coldplay.

terrible quality, but here she is playing with them at Roskilde. crazy stuff.

she has some really great songs that's she's written.

I saw them on the 4th at summerfest in milwaukee, was amazing. They've been my favorite band since around 8th grade (and I'm a senior now in HS i know lol) and it was so sick for my first real concert to be such a classic band. Neither Geddy, Alex or Neil have lost any of their musical skills, though Geddy's voice ain't what it used to be.

I love RUSH, and most older classic/prog rock.

Obviously old... but this is amazing

20 years old, but the chili peppers are still around. one of my favorites.

oh shit it's not even on youtube ultra hipster status. you better listen now.

All genres have low points and eventually fade away into history. fans never like to think that, they prefer to think that their genre alone is superior, will forever remain popular and culturally relevant. but time marches on. maybe rock's time has come.

th
every song on this album is amazing Dave Matthews Band is awesome!

coming from a musicans point of view, its time for me to school you on a few things.

1. this band has a cd collection called "off the record" with over 300 songs recorded which never made it on their 6 cd's they recorded.

2. this band has alot of songs in different counts as in 3/4 5/8 6/8 7/8 and they also have a song in 9/8

9/8 is a measure where the snare hits on all of the 1's ex) 123,11,123,1...123,11,123,1

you cant even count to 9 let alone play in a band where ALL 9 musicans play in! sorry you listen to bands with all 4/4 counts.... BORING

3. their concernt pricing goes from 20-300$ A ticket to see a band that won a grammies for only $20... come the fuck on man

4. your parents prob listened to them and they still attract teens to this day

5. his songs actually have meaning and dont talk about sex drugs and rock&roll

6. http://youtu.be/w9YJnT6NIgE

7. http://youtu.be/kJ2L8XlQcxA play the sax and drums like this you uneducated prick

This.

I don't listen to as much DMB as I used to, but there are few bands I respect as much for musical talent.
