Are there any Bay Area freestyle Teams?

Im looking for a way to get up to the park more often for less money. Does anyone know of a bay area freestyle team out there?
 
haha well you could check out the auburn ski club. But Im the only skier on the whole team this season so its kind of a joke
 
join the squaw team so many kids go pro out of that: michelle parker (i think?) CR johnson, now Miles Honens is starting to bust out, hellov kids.
 
Michelle Parker was not on the Squaw team...

Good luck joining it too.. you kinda need to know people who know people who killed people...

Or just show up to squaw one day and bust solid 9s in front of the team or something.
 
I'm sure she has skied at squaw, but I'm not sure if she was actually on their freestyle team..

regardless... freestyle teams are lame. Freestyle crews is where its at because its not about competition on a team level. its about progressing as an individual amongst many individuals. The End.
 
Yeah there's a bay area freestyle team. There are certain qualifications though.

You have to have a minimum 6 figure income.

Drive an overpriced SUV.

Piss off all the locals cuz you don't know how to drive.

Must be over 40 years old.

Only ski on the weekends.

Have a second home in Tahoe.

Drive with chains when there's no snow on the road and when its raining.

Only wear Columbia, North Face, Obermeyer, or Spyder.

And come into every local shop and say, "whoa, those skis are waaay to fat, what do they use those for?"
