Are the Line Sir Francis bacons worth the price

haha, way to add nothing to the thread except that you got a good deal. Bravo.

To the author: do you mean in terms of their quality over time or do you mean spending that much on a fat ski? I had them as my only ski a couple of years ago and they were so fun. My only complaint would be that at the end of the day my legs were beat. But, they are worth it in general. Two thumbs up.

I have bacons as my all mountain messing around type ski. They're extremely fun, buttery and playful. Add in some deeper powder and there really isn't another ski I'd rather be on. They were worth every penny in my mind.

I skied these for two years in the woods of Vermont. These were my everyday ski and they didn't feel as fat as they are. I'm 6'0 190lbs. and am an aggressive skier.

The pros are: it's an amazingly fun and playful ski. It's great in powder and making tight turns, buttering, even great on hardpack and the mayhem that are the woods of the east coast.

The cons: few really, the only reason I didn't get on board for the SFBacons again this year was that I wanted something a touch stiffer for bigger drops. I did wind up in the back seat when I really started hucking them.

I went with the ON3P 186 Billy Goats for this year and am anxiously awaiting to see whether they can hold up to the awesomeness that are the Bacons.
