Are the Armada Halo skis worth buying?

Ok so i'm planning to buy the Armada Halos. I was just wondering if their worth the buy or if i should bump my budget up another 50 for something else. I'm mostly asking this because I'm getting a job in the summer and I have to pay for them myself and I don't want to find out I just screwed my self $525.
 
I'd go with them if your on a budget, but armada makes really good skis, the only downside to halos is they lack a racebase
