Are Switchups Cool?

Do you consider switchups to be a cool trick to watch in edits? I feel like it gets to the point where there's like 50 switchups in every edit and it's like ok I get it, you can change the direction you're sliding.

If you do them to just the tip they are fawkin radical

Yeah, I like a disaster/gap to a donkey or something. Not all switchups suck, but a lot of em sure do.

Before I really got into park I was mind blown when I saw someone do one on a down rail, now I pretty much got them down and they are pretty fun but i get sick of seeg then endlessly in edits

Seeing a switchup 270 out on a rail is much more impressive than a straight hit.

granted, I'd much rather see a good tailslide blind 2 (but a good one, not like where the skier pretends to take a shit on the rail)

id say in certain instances yes, but either way they are definitely a good trick to add to your bag of tricks.
