Are suits out of style now?

I wanted a suit for the past several season and now that i have a real job i can actually afford one... but i feel like most ppl in the park seen now are wearing sweatshirt-type hoodies made of cotton and that water proof type jackets are out. anyway, i just bought the Armada Range jacket in the delirium color and the armada 5 am pant in the same color... heres the links

jacket http://armadaskis.com/product/outerwear/range/

pants http://armadaskis.com/product/outerwear/5am/ (you have to click the delirium color for the pants, it defaults to blue or something)

the suit looks pretty ballin but i think it might be a bit much. also, im only 5'5 and had to get a small in both and the jacket is still rediculously long, like an in. above my knees. im thinking about returning it and just sticking with hoodies and shit i buy at cititrends... what do you guys think???

i think you should wear whatever you want and think looks good. other peoples opinions n fads shouldnt matter. its a matter a personal preference and style. and i think that armada suite looks pretty sick.

i wouldnt worry about what the haters might say, cause im sure they will post their negativity sooner or later

^ i knew someone would say that and i think ur right, but $525 for a suit that kinda looks good is a big decision so i just want some honest opinions on the suit... not opinions on whether or not i should "wear what i want" - cause in the end, thats what ill do anyway

i wear a suit but thats because i wanna stay warm and dry. but wear want you want to wear and if it makes you happy by all means go for it!

why would you need a waterproof jacket if it doesnt snow where you live, and you wont ski pow?

get some cheap shit that looks good, afterall skiing is not about fun, its about fashion.

This. Hoodies aren't the best choice when it's -10 and blizzard conditions. Plus, if you fall alot, cotton hoodies are going to get really wet, really fast.

i ski in North Carolina so its never -10 and i never ski pow and i dont fall a whole lot, just when learning new tricks or slacking off

I try to avoid similar pants and jacket combos, but tbh nothing's better than a hoodie of you're spending you're day hiking up the park and shit. You'd have to be crazy to wear a hoodie for pow, but I personally wouldn't have gotten a matching deal. It doesn't REALLY matter what you look like but we all wanna look cool so go with your gut bro.

I'd say go for it. Solid combo, good outerwear and buy the same company pants and jacket is tight because they usually will attach to each other and work well together. I had burton pants and burton jacket last year and they zipped together at the powder skirt, it was fucking sick.

I agree with what he says^. I have Armada outerwear and Armada skis and I have always been so impressed by their products. Also, it's nice to have the same brand pants/jacket because of the integration.

I think the Delirium colorway is sick, however... I agree with you that it is a bit much. If they were solid colors it would work a lot better, but it's a pretty busy pattern.

I see Hornbeck wearing black and blood pants with his Delirium jacket and I think both pairs look sick. The blood color is way sicker in person than online too.

i dont know. in my opinion i would not got the suit because even if it seems like it would be really cool its just looks like a little much. if you had to choose though i would get the jacket in delerium and just a solid color pants.
