Are saga jackets kinda shells

i need a spring jacket and was wondering if saga jackets are liek a shell

they aren't kinda shells...they are shells... they're meant to be worn with layers in the winter, and with the vents open in the spring.

shells, but mine has been warm in -20s with a t-shirt and under Armour underneath and almost too warm on warmer days.

great jackets
and just open vents in spring
